How to Create a Halloween Impossible Fold Card

Don’t let the word “Impossible” SCARE you- this die make its super easy to create this fun interactive card with a Halloween flare!

Today Kendra is featuring our awesome ‘5723D Impossible Fold Die‘ for her card today! This is such a super fun and easy fun fold to create! This die makes it even easier to create a fun card with layers of patterns and card making goodness!! Kendra is also sneak peeking some of our NEW products, which will be available on 9/30/26 as part of our “Autumn Tapestry” release, so mark your calendars!!

Die cut the card base and support piece from the ‘5723D Impossible Fold Die‘ from black cardstock. Fold card base.

Die cut the side panel shadow layer and large center rectangle from the ‘5723D Impossible Fold Die‘ from orange cardstock. (Kendra set the rectangle to the side for now)
Die cut the main side panel layers from the ‘5723D Impossible Fold Die‘ from a piece of spider/spider web pattern paper from the ‘2410 Spooky & Sweet 6×9 Paper Pad‘. (Coming next week!!) Before adhering to orange layer, ink edges with ‘Large Blending Brush‘ with ‘Color Fuse Set 12; Hearth‘ to your liking. Adhere to orange layers. Adhere to card base.

Grab the black support piece from before. Die cut the smaller layer from the ‘5723D Impossible Fold Die‘ from a piece of grey paper from the ‘2410 Spooky & Sweet 6×9 Paper Pad‘. (Coming next week!!) Adhere layers together. Then adhere to card base.

Die cut both the corner webs from the ‘5216-01D Bast and Spiderwebs Die‘ from a silver glittery paper. Adhere to each end of the support layer.
Stamp the ‘You’re Spooktacular’ sentiment from the ‘38050 Halloween Mini Sayings‘ (Coming next week!!) on white cardstock with black ink. Die cut the sentiment with the .3″ x 2″ rectangle layer from the ”5944D Mini Sentiment Strip Nested Dies‘. (Coming next week!!) Lightly ink the edges of the sentiment layer with ‘Color Fuse Set 12; Hearth‘. Die cut the shadow layer from a piece of orange cardstock. Adhere behind the sentiment layer. Adhere on a slight slant with foam mounting tape on the support layer towards the left web.

Die cut one small and one large ghost from the ‘5216-02D Ghosts Die‘ from white cardstock. Add a piece of small cut black cardstock to the back of each of the ghosts. Adhere the smaller ghost to the left of the ‘You’re Spooktacular’ sentiment with a pop dot. (Set the larger ghost to the side for now)

Die cut the ‘Boo!’ sentiment from the ‘5842-02D Halloween Greeting Dies‘ from white cardstock. Adhere to the right of the ‘You’re Spooktacular’ sentiment.
Die cut the spider from the ‘5216-01D Bast and Spiderwebs Die‘ from black cardstock. Adhere to the right web on the support panel with a pop dot.
Grab the orange center layer. Die cut the inner layer from ‘5723D Impossible Fold Die‘ from a piece of orange/white plaid paper from the ‘2410 Spooky & Sweet 6×9 Paper Pad‘. (Coming next week!!) Adhere to shadow layer.
Die cut one of the larger webs from the ‘5216-01D Bast and Spiderwebs Die‘ from a silver glittery paper. Adhere to the left side of the rectangle layers. Trim off any excess.

Stamp the ‘Ghostly Greetings’ sentiment from the ‘38050 Halloween Mini Sayings‘ (Coming next week!!) on white cardstock with black ink. Die cut the sentiment with the .3″ x 1.75″ rectangle layer from the ”5944D Mini Sentiment Strip Nested Dies‘. (Coming next week!!) Lightly ink the edges of the sentiment layer with ‘Color Fuse Set 12; Hearth‘. Die cut the shadow layer from a piece of shimmery black paper. Adhere behind the sentiment layer. Adhere near the bottom left of your rectangle layer.
Die cut the two bats from the ‘5216-01D Bast and Spiderwebs Die‘ from black cardstock. Adhere to the upper left of the rectangle.
Grab the large ghost. Adhere a Mini Action Wobble to the back of it! Adhere to the right of the sentiment.

Adhere layer to card base.
Finish card by adding the large center die cut rectangle from the ‘5723D Impossible Fold Die‘ from a piece of white cardstock. Adhere to the back of the center layer of base. You can add a sentiment or just write a note on it for the recipient.
