Kendra loves her shaker cards!! Seeing the NEW ‘5950D Happy Halloween Cover Die’ she knew it would be a fun cover die to use to make a Halloween shaker, and we love how it came out. Follow along for some quick and easy steps to recreate this card.

- Start by creating an A2 sized card base from white cardstock.
- Die cut the ‘5950D Happy Halloween Cover Die’ from a piece of black shimmery paper. When removing the pieces, save the bats.
- Adhere a piece of acetate to the backside. Place foam mounting tape around the edge, then around the ‘circle’. This is a fun thing to do have different shaker elements in different parts. Also place other small pieces randomly for more support.

- Place shaker bits in the top and bottom sections. Then place a different assortment of shaker bits in the center section.

- Cut a piece of orange cardstock 4 3/16″ x 5 7/16″. Adhere to back of shaker then adhere to card base.
- Die cut the ‘5950D Happy Halloween Cover Die’ from a piece of white cardstock. Place the 4″ circle from the ‘5012D Circle Small Stitch Die‘ around the center of the circle from the cover die. Place painter’s tape on the outside to hold in place. The run through die cutting machine. (How cool is that?! What a great way to use the die differently!)

- Adhere circle piece to card base. Kendra placed exactly on top, but you could put slightly off to give a little black shadow behind it if you’d like.

- Grab the bats that were set aside earlier. Adhere one above the end of the ‘happy’ and one between the ‘Happy’ and ‘Halloween’ to the left.
- Die cut the spider from the ‘5216-01D Bast and Spiderwebs Die‘ from black shimmery paper. Adhere to card base on web.
- Finish card by adding an orange rhinestone to each corner of the card base.
