Sometimes you need to mass produce your craft projects and when that happens you need something quick and easy that still looks like a million bucks. These gift tags will do the trick!
Today’s gift tag project is from our designer, Carol, who says, “In my last blog post I showed how to make beautiful gift tags that were a bit more detailed. Today, I’m sharing how you can quickly mass produce six simple gift cards that are so cute!” We are loving these fabulous tags that are easy to make and will all match as you affix them to each gift under your tree. Follow along as Carol shows off these fun tags.

Directions:
- Using the smallest die from the 5514-02D Holiday Tags Die set, die cut six tags from 100# white cardstock.
- Save one of the negative pieces from your die cutting.
- We will use that negative piece to create a “jig” to quickly stamp each tag. (This technique works best with a stamp positioning tool.)
- Choose a sentiment that will fit the bottom portion of the tag. I chose one from the 36010 Winter Wreath Set.
- Place one tag in your jig on the stamping surface of your stamp positioning tool.
- Align your sentiment at the bottom of the tag.

- Ink up the stamp with black ink and stamp the tag.
- Remove the stamped tag and replace with another tag.
- Repeat the stamping until all tags have been stamped with the sentiment.

- Next we will use the 4213 Holly and Berries Stencil set to stencil each tag.
- Two tags can be stenciled together for more time savings!
- Using a sticky mat (or an electronic die cutting machine mat) will hold everything in place.
- If you do not have a sticky mat, then use removable tape.
- Before we start stenciling, place a piece of removable tape over the stamped sentiment and then place the stencil over the tags.

- Use a Detail Blending Brush and Crimson ink (Color Fuse #4) to color in the berries.

- Remove the first stencil and position the leaf stencil over the tags.
- Add Moss ink (Color Fuse #10) with a Detail Blending Brush.
- Remove the stencil and place the stems stencil over the tags.
- Add Basil ink (Color Fuse #10) to the leaf stems/veins and a black dye ink to the berries.
- Repeat the above steps twice more for the remaining four tags.

- Use a Blending Brush to add Crimson ink to a scrap piece of 80# white cardstock.
- Use a paper trimmer to cut narrow strips.

- Add a thin line of glue to the tags, just above the sentiment, and adhere one of the strips.
- Use your scissors to trim any of the strips hanging over the edges of the tag.

Now you have six tags that are fun and easy to make! This technique would work great for a collection of birthday gift tags too!

Add any coordinating ribbon or twine that you may have in your stash to finish the tags. In the following photo you will see a few ideas for this.
