A Colorful and Easy Way to Make Cards for Any Occasion

This is a clean, colorful, and easy way to make cards for any number of occasions. This stamp set has matching dies. Julie really loves this wood plank cover die. You can use it on plain white cardstock or inked for a totally different look. Follow along as Julie takes us through the steps to make this beautiful card.

  • Julie die cut the large ‘5708D – Wood Plank Die’ panel out of white cardstock and then used brushes to add the green ink from ‘Color Fuse – Set #10‘ and a little of the blue-green from ‘Color Fuse – Set #9′. She used the blue green to rub directly over the top to darken all the raised areas.
  • A smaller white panel was die cut a few times. First with the larger die from ‘5003D – Nested Rectangle Die‘, then a smaller one (to create the white frame).
  • Finally, an even smaller die was used to create the rectangle inset. She placed this in the center of the wood plank die & ran it thru the die cut machine.
  • Julie used ‘36032 – Simple Floral #1 Stamp Set‘ and ‘36032D – Simple Floral #1 Coordinating Die‘ to stamp the branches and berries and die cut them out after they were colored using Copic Markers.
  • Julie used the individual wood plank ‘5708-02D – Wood Plank Die‘ to cut the piece for the greeting before stamping on it.

This amazing card can definitely be used for any occasion by simply changing the sentiment. It is absolutely gorgeous! Be sure to follow us on Pinterest, Instagram or our blog to see more amazing cards.
