Gender Neutral Card for a Friend

Gender Neutral Card

Looking for some inspiration for greeting cards that are gender neutral? We have you covered.

For this card our designer, Tracy, said she wanted to create a more gender neutral theme. Many times, when we make cards, it can be really easy to stay on the cutesy or pretty track. She said, ” I think it’s important to also create with a masculine touch as well or at least lean more towards in that direction”. This card was easy to make with some ink and die cutting and stenciling. Follow along to see how Tracy created this card.

  • Let’s start by using the “5102 Repeating Bricks stencil” with the “cedar” ink cube. Ink stencil onto a light colored teal cardstock for a tone on tone look.
  • Use the ‘5513-02D Slimline Quilted cover die’ to start your background panel.
  • Next, use the “5700-01D Heart bubbles” die and white cardstock to create another element for the background.
  • Glue the “heart bubbles” to the brick stenciled background. Make sure to save a few of the heart cut outs to use as embellishments later.
  • Then stamp a sentiment from the set called “33270Kittie Says Friends”. You can use any sentiment that would relate to your current celebration. Then glue it onto the right top corner of the card panel.
  • Add some stickles and the saves hearts for embellishments.
  • Glue entire panel onto a card base slightly larger than the panel to get a white border.

We love this fun gender neutral card for a friend! We hope it inspired you and that you pin it for future inspirations. Happy Crafting!
