Bee Birthday Card using Brass and Bliss Craft Co products

Do you have a spring birthday coming up? This card will bring delight by saying “Happy Bee-Day” to the recipient! Check out this fresh new paper pad and Buzzy Bee stamps for the perfect spring card!

This Happy Bee-Day Card is here just in time to welcome Spring. Lisa loves the Brass & Bliss paper pads, with the coordinating solid pages. These pads have all the paper she needs to create a card. The new ‘2203 – Bee Mine Paper Pad‘ is just the cutest! It is part of our new ‘Garden Party’ Release. If you want to find more from this amazing release, check it out here!

  • Lisa started this card by stamping, die cutting, and coloring the images from ‘36025 – Buzzy Bees Stamp Set‘ and the coordinating die set ‘36025D – Buzzy Bees Die‘. Coloring was done using Copic Markers.
  • Lisa chose the paper from ‘2203 – Bee Mine Paper Pad‘ she wanted for the background and die cut it with the ‘5013D – Nested Rectangle Sm Stitch Die‘.
  • She then chose a coordinating color from ‘2203 – Bee Mine Paper Pad‘, the pretty rust, and trimmed it to 1/8″ larger than the design paper.
  • Next, she die cut ‘5512-04D – Polaroid Tabbed Die‘ from the center of the rust, no waste!
  • Lisa adhered the designer paper to the rust solid, and then adhered both to a white base 1/8″ larger than the rust layer.
  • She added foam tape to the ‘5512-04D – Polaroid Tabbed Die‘ and adhered this to the design paper at a little bit of an angle.
  • Lisa chose a green from ‘2203 – Bee Mine Paper Pad‘ and die cut some grassy layers using ‘5615-06D – Classic Tabbed Grass Die’, trimmed them down to fit inside the polaroid frame and adhered them with thin foam tape.
  • She popped the bees and flower up inside the frame.
  • She stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock and then die cut it out using ‘5704D – Nested Tag Dies‘.
  • Lisa popped the sentiment up onto the bottom of the Polaroid frame.
  • To finish, Lisa cut out the hive from one of the design papers from ‘2203 – Bee Mine Paper Pad‘ and popped it up next to the sentiment.
