How to Make Two Cards Using a Heart Stencil, a Phrase and a Die Set

Making two cards using a heart stencil, a phrase and a die set was easy using the New January Release from Brass and Bliss. Even though Valentine’s Day was a few days ago, Brass & Bliss is sure not everyone got their cards out on time. Not to worry because these two wonderful cards filled with hearts and love make quick and simple cards which can be used all year round! Meghan is sharing these two cards using the AMAZING ‘4301-Bokeh Heart Stencil‘ and sentiments from ‘36024-I Adore You Set‘.

Card #1: Hugs

How to Make Two Cards Using a Heart Stencil, a Phrase and a Die Set
  • Meghan started this card by stenciling with ‘4301-Boken Heart Stencil‘ in both pink and red on a white background. Once stenciled, Meghan splattered red, white and pink drops of ink over the hearts.
  • Next up Meghan stamped the phrase “I still fall for you everyday” from the stamp set ‘36024-I Adore You Set‘ over the hearts.
  • The word Hugs was cut from ‘5610-02D-Hugs w/Shadow Die‘ in red and pink. This was then attached over the hearts.
  • Next, she used ‘5500-02D-Outside Scallop Frame Die‘ to cut a red border around the hearts. This is then attached to a pink piece of cardstock for the base.
  • Lastly, Meghan cut two little pink hearts, red shadow with pink on top, using ‘5700-02D-Stacked Heart Die‘ and placed them at the bottom of the card.

Card #2: I Can’t Say I Love You Enough

  • Meghan’s second card used the same items as in her first card but with a very sparkly look.

  • Meghan used the ‘4301-Boken Heart Stencil‘ to create two different colors of pink hearts, the small heart getting lots of sparkle. She then added a small bit of splatter sparkle on the big hearts and card base.
  • Using ‘5500-02D-Outside Scallop Frame Die‘, Meghan cut to different sizes of the frames, the large frame for around the stenciled part of the card and a smaller frame for around the phase from the stamp set ‘36024-I Adore You Set’.
  • She finished by putting 3 small hearts from ‘5700-02D-Stacked Hearts Die‘, with sparkle of course, around the phrase.

Again, just another very cute and simple card for all to use and make it your own. Be sure to follow us on Instagram to see more cards that are fun, simple and cute.
