Kendra has made a fun shaker card for Mother’s Day. She said the ‘5309-09D Small Flowers #3 Die‘ and ‘5709-03D Small Flowers #6 Die‘ are perfect for creating your own confetti for shaker cards!! Follow along as Kendra takes us through the steps to make this amazing card.

  • Kendra started her card by creating an A2 sized card base.
  • Die cut the largest scallop from ‘5500-02D – Outside Scallop Frame Die‘ two times from dark blue cardstock. Adhere together.
  • Add acetate behind the frame. Adhere foam mounting tape to the back of the frame.
  • Die cut your own confetti using ‘5309-09D – Small Flowers #3 Die‘ and ‘5709-03D – Small Flowers #6 Die‘. Kendra used three shades of blue cardstock and one piece of gold glitter paper.
  • Place the smallest rectangle from ‘5013D – Nested Rectangle Small Stitch Die Set‘ in the middle of the shaker window and add foam mounting tape. This will help stabilize the center as we will be adding a sentiment on the front.
  • Place die cut confetti in shaker window, along with some other seed beads and blue sequins.
  • Die cut largest rectangle from ‘5013D – Nested Rectangle Small Stitch Die Set‘ from a piece of blue marbled paper from ‘2204 – Marbled Perfection Paper Pad‘. Adhere to shaker window.
  • Adhere to card base.
  • Die cut second smallest rectangle from ‘5013D – Nested Rectangle Small Stitch Die Set‘ from dark blue cardstock. Adhere to the center of the shaker window.
  • Die cut smallest rectangle from ‘5013D – Nested Rectangle Small Stitch Die Set‘ from white cardstock. Stamp ‘Mom’ sentiment in black ink from ‘36033 – Mother’s Day Script Stamp Set‘ on a slant towards the right side of the rectangle. Adhere to dark blue rectangle layer.
  • Die cut flower and leaves from the ‘5709-02D – Spring Flowers Die‘. Kendra used same shades of blue from confetti and gold glitter paper. Adhere to the left of the sentiment.
  • Finish card by adding 3 blue enamel dots under the sentiment.
