Make an Easy Panda Greeting Card

Panda Greeting Card by Brass and Bliss Craft Co.

Looking for an easy handmade greeting card that looks like it took longer than it actually did? Despite the intricate appearance created by the various frames, the process for this Panda Greeting Card is simple and requires minimal coloring effort

In today’s project, our Associate Designer, Julie, crafted an adorable panda in a pocket card using beautiful monochromatic paper and two charming scalloped frames. We just love how fun this card it and wanted to show you how creating an easy panda greeting card can spark inspiration!

Follow Julie as she takes you through the steps to create this adorable card.

  • Stamp and lightly color the panda and pocket using ‘36020-Animals in Pocket Set‘. Then die cut the panda and pocket using ‘36020D-Animals in Pocket Die’. Julie then die cut the white frame and the designer monochrome paper, ‘2002 Floral Monochrome Paper Pad‘ and two of the ‘5500-02D-Outside Scallop Frame Dies‘.
  • The grey frame was die cut using ‘5500-01D-Inside Scallop Frame Die‘. Julie really likes how they fit and work together.
  • Julie used peach cardstock for the pocket, but couldn’t find a larger piece for the narrow border under the monochromatic paper, so she used a Copic marker to color just the border that would show.
  • The panda and the pocket were popped up just a bit since the edges go over the gray frame. Two hearts were die cut (but not stamped) out of the same paper and added on the pocket.
  • Copics used were R20, R22, C2 & C3.
